About the Speaker - Katie Donovan

Katie Donovan is the founder of Equal Pay Negotiations, a pay equity expert, and speaker.  Her work focuses on knowing the value of the job, not the person, and the unintended biases in hiring, promotion, and review processes. Donovan awakened awareness and a movement when she introduced banning salary history questions to close the gender pay gap in 2012.  Eleven states and nine local jurisdictions have since implemented restrictions and bans through law and executive orders.
