WEST Gives Back

The WEST community is actively involved in volunteer projects.  We partner with local non-profits on projects to make a difference.  We have involvement from our board, advisory board, members, staff, and volunteers.  If you have a volunteer opportunity to share or would like to give back, please reach out to us at [email protected].

December 2023 - Clothing

WEST enjoys giving back. A couple times each year, we partner with non-profit organizations to provide opportunities for the WEST Board, Advisory Board, and community to come together and help others by giving our time, talents, dollars, and items in need. This winter, we are working on providing new and gently used clothing to those in need. Please help us support the comfort, physical health, and stress level of these individuals.

Donate gently used clothing to St. Francis House by bringing them to our upcoming in-person WEST events: 12/14 in Boston, 1/17 in Cambridge, or 1/23 in Lexington. Now is a great time to clean out your closet. You can also engage your company - Do your coworkers have clothes to donate? Does your company have extra branded swag?

Donate new underwear and other basic needs via the ArCS wishlist at https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/1PC9OIO6AGKPZ. Select item(s) for recent migrants - Haitian, Colombian, Ukrainian, and Afghan refugees, select the correct delivery address on Amazon. It should say Phyllis Brown’s Gift Registry Address. You can sort the list by price or priority.
