Liz Graham, COO, Mass Life Sciences Center Liz Graham currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Mass Life Sciences Center. In this role, she oversees the operational effectiveness of the MLSC and partners with the executive team and board to develop and execute the MLSC’s strategy. Liz is a startup executive who specializes in accelerating high-growth companies, and is active on several non-profit boards including the global startup accelerator MassChallenge, The Rappaport Institute, an organization dedicated to improving the governance of Greater Boston by strengthening connections among scholars, students & civic leaders, and is a founding member of Women Applying AI. Liz holds an A.B. from Harvard College, a M.St. from the University of Oxford, England (Balliol), and a J.D. from Harvard University.

Laura Kender, Polymer Process Engineer, Corning Life Sciences Laura Kender is a Polymer Process Engineer who works for Corning Life Sciences, a division of Corning Incorporated that develops and manufactures laboratory consumables and equipment that support research and development in areas like cell culture, bioprocessing, drug discovery, and genomics. Laura has been at Corning for 3 years where she focuses on manufacturing design, material development, injection molding, and sustainability. Prior to that, Laura worked at Converse for 5 years as a Footwear Product Developer where she helped to design and develop converse shoes. Laura studied at University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Plastics Engineering and played Division 1 Lacrosse. Laura is also a Board Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers.
