Register HereAbout the Panelists Catherine Chan is a strategic finance leader and founder of Lyra CW Consulting, where she provides valuable guidance to early-stage healthcare and technology ventures on capital strategy and investor readiness. With two decades of experience and over $400 million in successful financings, she adeptly combines operational insight with advanced AI tools to articulate complex business models in a clear and persuasive financial narrative. Catherine holds a B.S. in Finance from UIUC and an MBA from Babson College. Allison Holland is Chief Actuary, Global Actuarial Solutions, within Global Risk Solutions (GRS), Liberty Mutual’s commercial and specialty insurance business. She joined Liberty Mutual in 2001 through the Actuarial Development Program and has more than 24 years of tenure with the company. She has held actuarial roles of increasing responsibility across personal and commercial insurance, including four years as Director of State Operations in Personal Lines. Prior to joining GRS in September 2023, she spent more than nine years as Chief Actuary for Liberty Mutual’s global personal lines and small commercial business, with responsibility for balance sheet strength, loss trend projections, financial loss planning, and support for operations outside the U.S. through data science models focused on the claims process. Allison holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Boston College and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Allison lives in Needham, Massachusetts, with her husband, Brian, and their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, visiting Cape Cod, supporting her children’s gymnastics, and spending time as a family with board games and puzzles. Elizabeth Radcliffe is Chief Financial Officer and joined Cardurion in January 2023. She brings over 20 years of industry experience, including progressive financial leadership roles across the full range of biopharmaceutical R&D, commercial and business operations at large and small organizations, both public and private. Prior to Cardurion, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Affinivax, where she led the buildout of the finance and IT functions and oversaw the sale of the company to GSK for up to $3.3 billion. Earlier leadership roles included Vice President, Finance & Strategy and Treasurer of Arrakis Therapeutics, and Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis of Agios Pharmaceuticals, during the company’s first commercial product launch. She previously spent over a decade at Biogen, including roles leading R&D Finance, US Revenue Planning & Brand Finance, Corporate FP&A and Portfolio Management. Early in her career, Ms. Radcliffe held consulting positions at The Parthenon Group and Excelon Corporation. Ms. Radcliffe received a B.S. in Chemistry from Yale University, an A.M. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University, and an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
