Giving & Receiving Feedback: Discover How to Make these Conversations Easier- For Both of You!

The goal of this workshop is for participants to understand that giving and receiving feedback is not one-size-fits all. They will reflect on what they need to feel safe/comfortable receiving feedback and they'll learn how to customize their feedback for anyone on their team—including their manager.

Participants will learn 4 basic steps
 to giving meaningful feedback in a way that feels safe for both the giver and receiver.
They'll learn the importance of appreciation in offering feedback.
They'll walk away with three questions they can use to start any feedback discussion.

 

About the Speaker

Etta Jacobs is the Founder and Principal of Power in the Middle, an executive coaching and training organization with the mission of empowering mid-level managers and their teams. Prior to becoming an executive coach, Etta worked in the corporate world, at two Fortune 500 companies, where she supported her teams through continuous change and disruption. Etta coaches individuals and teams at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program, Inari, Microsoft, Seattle Children’s, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. She holds a Master of Organizational Psychology degree and is a past President of the Board of WEST.
