Building Relationships and Your Influence to Thrive in Your Organization

How do you get the support, engagement, and commitment you need from others? This is a constant challenge, particularly in pressure-driven environments where resources are limited and project schedules are tight. What you need is the ability to effectively influence without authority. This requires critical skills and strategies to engage cross-functional colleagues, stakeholders, and even external resources. You will learn how to expand your influence and more confidently achieve your goals with an emphasis on:

  • building trusted relationships and diversifying your network
  • effectively navigating office politics and leveraging your resources
  • maximizing your communication skills and honing your ability to read people and situations
  • understanding yourself, your value, your strengths & weaknesses, & how others perceive you
