Virtual Gathering & COVID-19 Panel Discussion

It's now nearly two months into our new normal of working and socializing virtually. We're curious to hear how you're doing. We'd like to learn what you're doing to break up your routine while also managing to keep up with your work and personal lives. If you'd like to reconnect with members of the WEST community, and share your stories, please join us for our May (virtual) networking event.

For the next few months, we'll be offering monthly gatherings where you'll have the chance to meet up with members in small break-out rooms, and then hear from a series of panelists on different topics ranging from the impact of COVID-19 to managing your network to innovation.

We'll start this month's gathering with two small group breakout sessions, each followed by a brief full-group discussion, to give participants the opportunity to share their thoughts with the whole group. Following these networking break out rooms, we'll host a 30-minute panel discussion with members of our Board of Directors and Advisory Board. They'll discuss measures their companies have established to support employees working from home, and how they're building community virtually. They'll share tools and tips to help you cope and be more productive in your work. They'll also reflect on how this unique period will affect the culture of companies in the future, and then explore which changes we should keep. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists to learn more about ways they're supporting their teams and building community.

Panelists include:

 - Julia Curran, Senior Manager, Insights and Analytics, Takeda R&D Data Sciences Institute at Takeda
 - Sandra Glucksmann, President and CEO at Cedilla Therapeutics
 - Ryan Higginson-Scott, Senior Director, Global People Operations at Fuze
