If you are exploring your options, leaving your job, or want to learn more about career choices, please join us for our annual Alternative Careers in Science and Technology event. Meet our extensive panel of “One-Night Mentors” who have experience breaking into and thriving in careers outside of academia including: business development, patent law, consulting, communications, project management, financial services, and technology transfer. Mentors will introduce themselves and then will be available for “speed networking” at separate tables, where you can talk with mentors and learn more about their careers.

Mentors will make brief 3-5 minute presentations throughout the evening. The remaining time will be a series of timed intervals ('speed networking') in which participants meet in groups at the tables with mentors who are available to answer their career questions.
