Ambassadors play an important role in WEST organization. They serve as liaisons between their companies and WEST, helping build stronger ties between them. Ambassadors gain valuable leadership experience and networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the success of other women in their industry.

Responsibilities Include
One-year commitment
Maintain active WEST membership
Become knowledgeable about WEST, its mission, and its activities
Attend regularly scheduled Ambassador meetings
Share information about WEST with your company by personally forwarding emails, hanging up fliers where possible, and reaching out to others in person or by phone
Attend WEST programs on a regular basis (at a special reduced rate) and encourage others from your company to come and to become members
Help identify people within your company who could participate as speakers, advisors, or sponsors for WEST
Give feedback to WEST about what issues are important to women in your company, or what new activities you think would be useful
To Apply
Preference will be given for Senior Scientist (or higher) working for a sci/tech company or organization with at least 100 employees
