Why Sponsor?

Sponsorship is a tremendous means for outreach to the WEST community. WEST has an email list of over 5,000 contacts. Over 85% of attendees to WEST events have graduate degrees, and the majority are important decision makers in the science and technology industry. The WEST community and members are always eager to learn about other individuals, organizations, and opportunities.

The support of women in science and technology is essential — for men as well as women — to further their work, the organizations they work within, economic growth of our region and the quality of life for those within and far beyond our area. WEST sponsorship contributes to this reach and impact, and demonstrates your organizations commitment to these issues.


Sponsorship Opportunities

WEST hosts many events throughout the year, and has sponsorship opportunities for most programs. 

Signature Events

WEST hosts two annual award ceremonies. In the winter, the “Giving Back Award” ceremony honors women who give back to their communities through their day jobs and/or through volunteering. In the spring, the “Leadership Awards” ceremony showcases women who have demonstrated remarkable leadership in science and technology. 

Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

WEST is actively seeking corporate sponsors who value WEST's mission and wish to support women in the fields of science and technology.  WEST corporate sponsors are acknowledged on the WEST home page and are able to partner in developing the workshops offered by WEST throughout the year.


Who Sponsors WEST?

WEST attracts a variety of types of sponsors, ranging from law firms, large pharmaceutical companies, smaller biotech and technology companies, to CRO's, and other service provides.


Individual Donations

WEST is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and welcomes charitable donations from individuals who want to support further development and growth of the organization. You can make a donation here.
